Product Information:
- Filtering facepiece respirator in polypropylene shell shape with an active carbon layer that can trap unpleasant and annoying odors produced by organic vapors
- Two self-adjusting elastic straps
- Aluminum nose clip with polyurethane sealing foam
- Protects against dust and water-based mists with a maximum utilization level up to four times the TLV and against unpleasant odors present in low concentrations (below the TLV)
- Users: laboratories, brush painting, metalworking, services such as urban sanitation, chemical and pharmaceutical industries
Instructions for Use:
1- Hold the cup respirator in your hand with the nose clip facing your fingertips and let the elastics hang freely under your hand.
2- Position the respirator under your chin with the nose clip facing upward.
3- Place the upper elastic strap over the top of your head and the lower elastic strap under your ears.
4- Ensure that the elastics are not crossed or twisted.
5- Using both hands, shape the nose clip to fit the shape of the nasal septum for correct use and a good seal.
Shaping the nose clip with one hand may result in a weaker seal and lower respirator performance.
6- Check the seal of the respirator on your face by performing a fit test before entering the contaminated area.
Disposal:
Contaminated product must be disposed of as hazardous waste in accordance with national laws.
Fit Test:
1- Cover the front of the respirator with both hands, being careful not to move it or alter the seal.
2-(a) NON-VALVED respirators - EXHALE decisively; (b) VALVED respirators - INHALE decisively
3-If air leaks are felt around the nose, readjust the nose clip to eliminate them. Repeat the fit test as described above.
4-If leaks are felt along the seal edge, readjust the side elastics to eliminate them. Repeat the fit test as described above.
If a perfect seal cannot be achieved, DO NOT enter the contaminated area. Consult your supervisor.
